With Tommy Ramone's death in July 2014, every founding member of The Ramones is now deceased. But the story isn't over.
In an interview with Billboard, Jeff Jampol, who co-manages the band’s estate with Dave Frey, revealed plans for a new movie that's set to be helmed by Martin Scorsese.
In addition, Jampol says they're planning a new documentary, which will feature never-before-seen footage. He also hints at a forthcoming book, play, some remastered music, and more that will mark the 40th anniversary of Ramones' debut album.
Previously, Martin Scorsese has tackled films about Bob Dylan, George Harrison, the Rolling Stones, and The Band.
