Robert Plant

Robert Plant and his current band, The Sensational Space Shifters, have announced they will hit the road for a brief North American tour this fall. The trek kicks off September 25 in Port Chester, New York, and wraps up October 7 in Los Angeles. Plant and the band’s new album, Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, will be in record stores September 9. “It’s really a celebratory record—powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep,” the longtime Led Zeppelin frontman said last month, in a prepared statement. “The whole impetus of my life as a singer has to be driven by a good brotherhood. I am very lucky to work with The Sensational Space Shifters. They come from exciting areas of contemporary music.” The album is Plant’s first full project since 2010’s Band of Joy.
