Scorpions Announce North American Tour

If you thought you saw the last of the Scorpions in America on their 2010 “farewell” tour, prepare to have your mind rocked like a hurricane. The German hard rock veterans have unveiled a summer tour of North America.

The trek, which they say is a continuation of that previous tour, will begin on June 8 in Reno, Nevada, and wrap up July 12 in Washington, D.C., according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

As a tour tie-in, the band have recorded Comeblack, an album containing Scorpions cover versions of some of the members’ favorite songs, including works by The Kinks, T. Rex, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
