Despite now being a movie producer with his Slasher Films company and his 2013 release of horror movie Nothing Left to Fear, Gibson Les Paul legend icon Slash says he doesn’t want to see a biopic made about his former band, Guns N' Roses. A movie has been mooted for a while about the band’s turbulent existence, but Slash tells the Belfast Telegraph:

“I would not like to see a Guns N’ Roses biopic. It’s really rare where you see actors portraying live musicians (well). I don’t think rock and roll translates in the movies, I don’t think they really get the gritty vibe of what it’s like.”

Slash is, however, making his own “movies” of new recording sessions. He is documenting the making of his new album with a series of Reel to Reel postings on YouTube.
