Under his current screen name ‘The Boogie Knight’ at @CoreyTaylorRock, Taylor wrote “For those who think The Knot are falling apart, you are greatly and sadly mistaken. Bring on 2014. Great things are coming.”
It’s Taylor’s first social media comment on the split since it occurred on December 12, although the band released a joint statement to announce the news. At the time the band said “We understand that many of you will want to know how and why this has come to be, and we will do our best to respond to these questions in the near future.”
No news has yet been forthcoming from either the band or Jordison, who is currently charging full-steam-ahead with his new band Scar The Martyr. Meanwhile Taylor’s other band Stone Sour is hitting the road in January, although guitarist James Root is sitting out for the run so he can focus on Slipknot songwriting.
