Soundgarden Goes Back To The Superunknown
Believe it or not, but it’s been twenty years since Soundgarden released their seminal album Superunknown. To commemorate the event, the band have announced plans to release a 20th anniversary edition of the album. There will be three different versions available — a vinyl release, and two deluxe packages, all to be released on June 3. All the packages will contain demos and rehearsal recordings.
The two-CD Deluxe Edition will contain a remastered version of Superunknown as well as a CD with demos, rehearsals and B-sides, ten of which have never been released before. The Super Deluxe Edition has no less than five discs, and aside from even more demos and rarities it contains a 5.1 Surround Sound mix of Superunknown on Blu-ray.
