More rock names are lending their talents to the upcoming “12.12.12: The Concert for Sandy Relief,” which is set to take place next month at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Organizers for the Hurricane Sandy relief benefit show have confirmed that Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl have been added to the lineup that already boasts Billy Joel, the Who, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Bon Jovi (along with his full band), Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and more.
Funds raised from “12.12.12: The Concert for Sandy Relief” will go towards the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which supplies aid to charitable groups in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are that are helping people impacted by the storm. Tickets for the big gig go on sale beginning Dec. 3 at 12 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster outlets.
