Black Label Society frontman and Gibson guitarist Zakk Wylde has filed a restraining order against a neighbor. According to NME.com, Wylde has been “terrified” by the fan who left a sacrifice outside Wylde’s house.
NME points to documents discovered by TMZ that show that Wylde has been stalked by this fan for long period of time. Wylde says in the report that the fan is “mentally ill.”
A temporary restraining order has been issued by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, ensuring that the fan stays a minimum of 100 yards away from Wylde and his family.
Difficult times, then, for celebrities. Last month, former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante took out a similar restraining order to keep a fan away and in June SuperHeavy’s Joss Stone was the victim of a kidnap attempt.
