New York City-area Zakk Wylde fans, take note: The former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist and current Black Label Society frontman is scheduled to perform with the Les Paul Trio on Monday (June 10) at the Iridium in New York City.
Each Monday, the Les Paul Trio performs at the Iridium and hosts a rotating array of A-list guitarists honoring the late, great Les Paul. The guitarists create the set list for the night, which ranges from Les Paul tunes to other covers to originals. The intimate setting of the Iridium makes the experience extra unique.
Les Paul, of course, was the “father of the electric guitar.” He passed away at age 94 in 2009. The Iridium donates 20 percent of ticket sales each week to The Les Paul Foundation, which supports music education, engineering and innovation, plus medical research.
Following Wylde’s Monday night stint, he’ll also perform solo shows Tuesday at Wednesday at the venue. For more information, visit www.theiridium.com.
