A Larger Bank of Tuning and Tone Presets
Dusk Tiger retains the tonal purity achieved through analog technology, but expands on Dark Fire's nine iconic tones by offering not just advanced coil switching/tapping/phase flipping, but an ultra-low-noise, programmable on-board multiband EQ controlled by flexible editing software. Guitarists can take full advantage of Dusk Tiger's exquisite onboard tones, but also create their own variations and signature sounds.

A Quicker, Smarter MCK
Now it's easier than ever to control the Dusk Tiger's powerful features. The Master Control Knob (MCK II) go above and beyond what any tone knob could ever do by giving you easy access to unlimited tonal possibilities and its automatic tuning capabilities.
Speed and Comfort
The MCK II has been completely redesign for simpler, faster, and more intuitive function, with much improved ergonomics and a sophisticated full color matrix display featuring LEDs and high-tec light pipe technology. These features work to deliver a more powerful and easier to see visual display under any light condition.
Adjust Tone and Tunings
In addition to the MCK II's top mounted display, LED-lit symbols now adorn its outer edge, which blend with the color of the knob so that they're only visible when lit. The Dusk Tiger's new MCK II also controls the ability to change pickups and coils and to access preset tone settings, allowing you the ability to adjust tone and tunings automatically and simultaneously, even several times during the same song.
Exceptional Ease of Use
Advanced technology is irrelevant if it's not accessible. With Dusk Tiger, all tones and the 18 user-programmable alternate tunings (featuring third-generation Robot Tuning Technology for quick, accurate self-tuning), are accessible through a streamlined, stage-friendly interface inspired by intensive focus groups with leading guitarists.
Tone and Tuning Banks
The MCK II features color coded tone and tuning banks, with a total of 98 user preset positions for sound and 99 preset positions for tuning available, allowing the guitarist to easily switch between a multitude of sound possibilities.
Sound Select Mode (Green)
In Sound Select mode the user can select between 10 sound presets simply by turning the MCK. The center display will show the preset's ID, giving you a wide variety of sounds from the classic '58 Les Paul or the rich, full sound of the 335, to a country twang or a funky sharp rhythm guitar. The presets will even allow the round and full tone of a Gibson Acoustic.
Tune Mode (Blue)
In Tune mode a selected tuning can be applied to the strings simply by turning the MCK. The outer LEDs will reflect the current MCK position, with the center display showing the corresponding preset ID, with a total of 11 tuning presets. Within seconds you can change your tuning from standard to open G, to dropped D, to E flat, to DADGAD and back to standard. When the strings are strummed, the Robo Heads are turned until the strings are in tune.
Preset Mode (Yellow)
In Preset mode, both sound and tuning of a selected preset can be applied. This mode is filled with an incredible assortment of tones ranging from gent to jazz to a clear, punching humbucker.
Function Mode (Red)
In Function mode, the user can select between different system functions. The Chromatic Tuner setting detects a plucked string and displays the nearest note and the offset of the frequency to that note. The Intonation setting allows the tuning of a string to a currently active tuning by comparing the frequency of empty string and 12th fret. Other settings include Custom Tuning, tuning to a Reference Pitch, String Up and String Down tuning, User bank selection and a Setup Menu that allows access to setup parameters and functions that control the system behavior.
